We started our morning with our Spelling Bee. We marked a peer's test before handing it in for Ms. Wishart to grade.
In Art with Ms. Wishart, we created a home made loom out of cardboard and yarn. We will use the loom and coloured yarn to weave a bookmark. In Music, we continued learning to play the ukulele with Mrs. Hartley. We then had our last day with Ms. Shirley. We got to see the banner we collectively made with other grade 3/4 and grade 5/6 classes. We then shared what we loved about this experience of dancing and creating art with Ms. Shirley. We ended the class with a round of dancing musical chairs! In French with Ms. Merilovich, we worked on and shared our French comic strips. We then brainstormed other French survival skills that we would need if we were in a francophone school. In STEM class with Ms. Henry, we built a water filter with 3-7 layers based on our plan we drew in our groups. To end the day we reflected on our Goal of the Day, We will show the 3 R's. We shared how we showed respect in all our classes today and earned a reward token! Happy weekend everyone! ***Reminders*** *We are beginning to see a lot of toys and stuffies arriving at school.
